For hardwood floors, I suggest either Teflon "glides" or felt pads that
come with peel-off paper to reveal adhesive. Both are readily available
at hardware store or "big box" home improvement centers like Home Depot
or Lowe's. The rubber feet are OK, but they make it hard to move the
machine when you need to get to the back, etc.
One advantage of having casters under the unit is that it makes it much
easier to vacuum under and around it, dust dust/hair is a serious enemy
of any floor mounted electronics. (Do as I say, not as I do - my stuff
just rests on its case on the floor and rarely gets moved or vacuumed.)

One reason for the little rubber feet is to prevent scratching and damaging
your nice hardwood floors or tile with the sharp edges of the metal case.
Most any of the hardware stores have the small felt sticky back feet that
work very well.
