>I have just found out that my wife would like (read: is >expecting), an iPod for Christmas. I know next to nothing about them...
The good news is that it is hard to go wrong with an iPod. Tey are uniformly well designed. The main issues you have to look at are storage capacity and controls. The smallest Shuffle has no screen so it won't let you pick specific songs. The Nano now has all the features of the big iPods, including video playing. I'm not sure if it will play video on a TV, like the big iPods do. The Classic iPods big selling point is massive storage. The Touch is the coolest iPod of the future. Some people prefer the Nano or Classic because they can be operated by touch without removing it from a pocket. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
