My iPod Mini battery is starting to go. I believe Tom says that he replaced his iPod battery. Where can I find a battery and how to replace it? Thanks,
Try OtherWorld Computing, http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ipod/. Most [Newer Technology, http://newertech.com/products/ipod.php] battery kits are around $20, including tool to open iPod. Other vendors may have kits as low as $15. My son changed the battery in his gen 1 iPod, said it was very easy, much easier than replacing the FW port that loosened from carrying it by the cable.
