The WP article never states he is being sued for ripping cds, although it is
easy to infer. It says that the RIAA brought up ripping cds in their
lawsuite, but not that it was *the* reason for the lawsuit.   The article
itself is poorly written and researched.  The interesting part of the story
is that the RIAA may actually decide to start going after cd rippers, I
don't think even in this current climate they can win that lawsuit.
