I suspect that I may end up get a 'converter' through the purchase of somethng like a VCR or a DVD recorder that has another purpose. I have an old TV that I have used a VCR as a tuner since the TV's tuner was incompatible with my former cable provider. It isn't wort replacing but may get upgraded by a hand me down TV that gets replaced with a more modern set.
