We have old PowerMac G4s that limit the size of hard drives we can use on the internal bus. I got a [free] Sonnet Tempo ATA100 PCI card so that Bob can put a larger hard drive in his Mac.

Does anyone have this card? All I can find about it is problems listed at http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/OSX/sonnet_ide_cards_and_10_2.html. Our Macs are running Tiger. Do these cards have sleep or other problems with Panther or Tiger?

Suggestions, comments, please, before I install it! [Maybe we need another large external FW drive instead.]

Betty
