Haven't heard anything mentioned about that in their plans. Guess they
may have overlooked that one. Perhaps they want to have everyone end up
in the same boat with cellphones and wireless when the power goes down.
The only thing left operating will be landlines if anyone still uses
them. That and battery (or hand-crank-generator), operated radios.

Having an externally powered antenna still does not answer for me what we're supposed to
do in a hurricane? Or an ice storm? When we need to get information "from the
airwaves," when cable and satellite are disabled, do we need to get a battery backup
to run an antenna for an ac/dc HDTV?
And btw, has anyone seen an ac/dc HDTV? What am I going to do on my boat??
