The Radical Right is typically the Christian Right in most folks minds.
The Conservatives are generally NOT considered radical- even though they
love to slur the Democratic Party (Democrat Party) and invent new concepts
for liberalism.

That's true, there has been consistent criticism of Bush
by the people who consider themselves conservatives true believers
(itiofd, that does not include me). The Republican party is diverse
mix of big business types, social conservatives, libertarians,
populists, military supporters, military-industrial-complex insiders (not
the same as the previous), westerners, southerners, relatively liberal
New England wasps (not so many as there used to be) and
religious folks who may or may not fit into the other categories,
They are not always on the same page and often don't trust each other.
