Have you checked the characteristics of the file(s)?
Under "File" on the Mac, go to "Get Info." This
should tell you whether you actually have something
viable (& how large the files are). I agree, though,
you should go back to the source. If Graphic
Converter won't do it, you don't want to be messing
with a boatload of these things.
