Are you referring to CRT monitors?
I wasn't, not specifically, but ten years out of a CRT isn't uncommon. Plenty of NECs amd Sonys are still in service. Lots aren't.
It really pains me to be discarding so many 10 year old monitors that were working just fine and replacing them with LCDs that seem to like to die at an early age.
Why would you replace a proven technology that still works with a newer technology that apparently has a shorter lifespan? Business reason please. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
