I would start first by finding out what program each person used to
email you in the first place and also whether it was sent in plain text
or HTML. How the accents are being created in the problem computer might
make a difference. Is the sender going through a corporate email
security program which is corrupting what is being written? While I have
no experience with Eudora, I would think that because you received
emails from several people correctly, that the problem might originate
from the incorrect email sender's computer/program. Good Luck.

In Portuguese-Brazilian we some accents in some letters... for
instance ç, á, à, ã, õ, é... etc, etc.
Well, I receive some e-mails from Brazilain and American friends
without a problem. For instance:
Informativo da Arte e Cultura.
Pretendemos, neste Informativo, dar-lhes a conhecer dos novos
conteúdos dos blogs:
O Blog do Burnier aborda o tema: LIBERDADE;
o do Aziel tem por título: TEOLOGIA E EVANGELIZAÇÃO NUM MUNDO
GLOBALIZADO;
o do Executivo o tema é:OS MITOS DA FIDELIDADE;
e o de Psicanálise e outra coisas o tema é: MENOS É MAIS...PARA QUEM?
