Unfortunately, spammers are causing perfectly rational companies to lose their minds when it comes to blocking spam. Caution is out the door and down the road. I could shift things over to my gmail account, but that gets over 5,000 spam/month. I don't even bother going through the spam folder checking for ham.
I'll say what I've said before: email is no longer a reliable form of communication. If every company published a SPF record and checked incoming mail against published SPF records, spam wouldn't be the problem that it is. Sadly, not enough do this to make a significant difference. > -----Original Message----- > I have said it before and I will say it again: Anyone who gets their > email through Comcast or Cox is asking for trouble. > > With so many well-managed alternatives why do you let these idiots mess > up your email? > > BTW, I had not previously seen the removal notice sent by the server. > I'm > impressed with L-Soft's explanations and urgent appeals for you to do > the > right thing. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
