I think you must have misunderstood. If something has gone wrong in Firefox, it could be because of something gone bad in your profile. So creating a new profile with nothing in it would be an easy way to check. If everything is back to normal with a new profile, you can start to move things from the old profile, one by one. Everything is just files in the profiles. If you are using Windows, your profiles are under your Windows profile folder. The easiest way to find these folders is probably to search for "bookmarks.html" To get your bookmarks to the new profile, copy this file over. If you have moved to Firefox 3, it could be more complicated. You don't want to copy every file over - the problem could have been a corrupt history file or something. Still, if you do copy a file over and it gets messed up again, you can always delete it. -- John DeCarlo, My Views Are My Own ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
