Oh yeah eh. The Canadian Health Care System is a model of efficiency too. A friend's doctor ordered a MRI for a concern about a possible heart ailment. The appointment was made with super efficiency for 6 months later. The 6 months goes by, they go to the appointment, only to find the tech called in sick and they need to reschedule.
Yep...there wasn't anyone in a 3 hour radius that could come in to maintain the appointments. The new appointment was scheduled for 4 months later - they were able to get in "earlier" because the first appointment was canceled. The super-duper efficient eh Canadian Health Care system saved themselves the cost of a MRI. He died 3 months later. Amazingly enough, from a heart attack. Yep...that's just what we need.
