Roxio's Toast creates a disk image of an audio CD in a format called
Sound Designer II (.Sd2f), and I've used it to back up many of my CDs.
I've been thinking (worrying): If ever Toast was discontinued, and a
future version of Mac OS 10 "broke" the old Toast, is there anything
else that will mount the image?
I've searched and come up with some technical discussions that I don't
understand, and the info that QuickTime will play the file, but I
don't think that it will mount it. I haven't come up with anything
that will mount it.
