Yes, the iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone bits. It has WiFi connectivity, so one can do all the internet stuff from mail to web surfing and more if you're in the presence of a wireless network. (The iPhone has WiFi There are services around to use for connecting to messengers (from iChat to MSN service). The main differences I know of: No camera No external speaker(s) No microphone The iPod Touch is also slightly thinner, and I've read some think the screen isn't comparable to the iPhone (blacks are not rendered as well and it feels different). Lastly there is still debate over whether the iPod Touch has Bluetooth or not. Some say it is in there but disabled, some say no. I figure if it is in there, it's disabled until they work out using stereo Bluetooth headphones with it, which is something an iPod user would want more than an iPhone user might. -- Michael Lewis Off Balance Productions [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.offbalance.com ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
