I've worked with Sun workstations and servers (lots of them) for the
past 18 years and my experience has been the exact opposite.  The
Seagate drives in them have been reliable.  That's not to say I have
not had failures, but those have been few and far between.  I pick
Seagate drives when I have the option.

Western Digital drives, on the other hand, have given me lots more
trouble.  Whenever I can, I stay away from them.
