You missed it. (Why am I not surprised?)

The topic is *incompetence*.

They got $300,000,000 to tell the world "Use our stuff, not the other
guy's stuff." Then go out and use the other guy's stuff for 4 of 12 --
1/3 of the project.

What does that tell the world? Do you recall the phrase "I would not do
that if you gave me $1,000,000"? Well $300,000,000 is not enough to get
the job done without using the other guy's stuff.

True or not, that tells the world that the other guy's stuff must be
really special. As I joked: "I would not use Windows for such an
important job..."

The point is not that the job required Macs. The point is that
$300,000,000 is not enough to get enough good management to assure the
other guy's stuff was not used.

It says that MS's problem is not that Macs are "cool" it is that MS is
incompetent. And that's not cool.

>There are twelve images on the page. Eight of them were done with Windows.
>And since they were created with Photoshop, which runs identically in
>Windows, they could all have been done on a PC just as easily, and they
>would be exactly the same
>
>So, despite your fair and balanced view of Microsoft, somehow you managed to
>come up with a statement that is nonsensical on its face.
