I suspect the graphics card (or video component of the main logic board), John. Have you tried connecting one of these monitors to another computer?
Thank you, Mark Snyder -----Original Message----- We had an LCD monitor just turn off and not go on again about a month ago. Looks like it is cheaper to replace than repair. We just got a new one, different manufacturer, and within three days, the same thing happened. I Googled around, but didn't see anything specific. Both were plugged into the "surge protection" part of a UPS. Could it be the computer connection? Some power problem getting through the UPS? Any ideas welcome. Thanks. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
