Sigh.

> Computerworld's hands-on review wants to call it
> Windows 6.5 and says it is largely a big bug fix
> with a few new features thrown in.

It says it is "largely a big bug fix"? Really? Where? Where does it say
that? Where does it even *mention* bugs? Please be specific.

You somehow managed to leave out the article headline: "This Time Microsoft
Gets It Right".

And the subhead: "Microsoft's upcoming OS shows great promise".

And the third paragraph: "Overall, Windows 7 is a more functional, more
efficiently designed operating system than Windows Vista, with far more
attention paid to the user experience. From revamped a User Account Control
(UAC) feature to better home networking, improved search and nice interface
tweaks, the entire operating system has gotten an overall polishing."

> That looks much more real-world than the pure hype
> recently seen on this list.

You're going to have to go back and show us all the "pure hype" and
"marketing blather" that appeared in the recent thread. Because none of us
can find it. I find sentences like "Windows 7 looks very much like Vista".
When Mike calls you on this, you respond with an "I don't have to prove
anything I say" non-response. You found hype? Show me the money. Let's see
some quotes. Show me anything that is substantively different from what's in
the Computerworld article.

> You were unable to get real because you didn't have
> anything real to present. So you just sputtered.

Well, this statement is completely accurate; you just have to change the
pronouns from "you" to "I'.
