Notebook is the term du jour for what everyone used to call laptops. They generally do have a hard drive (and a DVD drive as well). The thing you can write on is usually called a tablet PC. Netbooks are smaller than either and usually have a solid state drive instead of a hard drive. They're cheap, light, and handy for light duty stuff (email, web browsing, etc.) but aren't up to snuff for heavy duty things like video editing or big databases. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
