You are working hard to strip the specifics out of the discussion so you can make vague generalities and issue blanket absolutions. As previously stated (not by me): if a device contains a calendar the edge conditions on that kind of product are well known. I say again: to not test sufficiently to discover that the device completely fails to function on one of those well-known edge conditions is incompetent. Insisting that MS rarely makes such mistakes is ridiculous too. When I work with MS products I always worry about edge conditions because I have been burned time and time again. I have to take extra time to confirm that functions really do what they are supposed to do. Figuring out ways to work around bugs is an annoying time waster and significantly increases project completion time and cost. It also causes considerable stress. I don't need that. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
