>Tom operates under the RDF'd delusion that Apple is some kind of >warm-hearted, sweet-little-aunt-who-bakes-you-pies company
When you can't win with the facts change the subject (bring in Apple when the topic is MS), attack the truthtellers (call them "biased," "nattering nabobs of negativism," "liberals," "Godless" etc.), split-hairs (a complete breakdown is not a "serious" malfunction), etc. I have a term for it" "dishonesty." You discredit yourselves. >At least Jeff will answer direct questions, I'm still waiting for Tom to >explain his going after MS for the Toshiba bug in their player, but not >Toshiba for the bug in theirs. All companies are going to do something stinky from time to time. That does not excuse any of them when they do. "Everybody's doing it" is not an excuse. So MS points a finger at Toshiba, Toshiba points a finger at Freescale, Freescale points a finger at some subcontractor, the subcontractor points a finger at some manager, the manager points a finger at some untrained programmer, etc. On this last day of the Bush administration it is time to cut the neocon crap. "The buck stops here" is a good motto. The Zune was MS's baby. They blew it big time. Period. Anybody want to discuss the "downandup" worm? Nine-million served. Another MS non-success story. Their inability, after years of promising, to produce a secure operating system is a significant failure. No I don't want to see more lame excuses. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
