I have an office with an 8-port Ethernet router on a broadband cable connection. I have been requested the ability to provide some wireless capability temporarily (for outside auditors). I have a spare 4-port wired/wireless Linksys broadband router, and I was wondering if I could "daisy-chain" the latter to the former by using a cross-over cable between one of the Ethernet ports on each unit. I know that I can daisy chain Ethernet hubs this way, but have not ever tried to do it with wireless (802.11a/b/g/n) connections.

My other thought is to plug the wired/wireless into the broadband connection and then patch the 8-port hub into that.

Before I start chasing "the impossible dream", I was wondering if anyone had tried it or had any thoughts.

Mike
