If you like the m25 check out Sandisk's "Sansa Fuze": no speaker but
really small and slim with a great user interface, internal rechargeable
battery, SD card slot and FM radio:

no speaker, as you say, but what a cool little thing and it's sooo tiny!!
...you can get a nice little speaker that plugs in2 it and works on
batteries ...or you could listen with a nice set of earphones ...or you
could get a bluetooth thing (some have a dongle you plug in2 the speaker
outlet and then it bluetooths to your earphones) ...I also have seen
bluetooth portable speakers battery operated ...or else, you could buy a
boombox and forget all this folderol...
oh yeah, also got a motorola m500 which is the same player (uses same
software) but has 5gb internal and rechargeable ...found that on ebay brand
NIB for $28 + tax. It has a real HDD in it. It runs great!
Battery life is good on these. Advantage of m25 is small size, solid state
(no HDD), and batteries are everywhere (can be ripped off from flashlights,
etc.)... also, the thing is rated for a 1gb card but takes a 2gb card just
fine ...beats the heck outa other devices!!

I bought a used motorola m25 (256k) AA battery 2gbSD capable fm radio
unit
Looks lovely ($20 via Amazon), but seems to lack a speaker.
