I just installed the new MS updates to my Office suite. I also just
installed 4 updates from Apple. I have a program that runs called
SMARTreporter. It's supposed to monitor the hard drives and tell me
when they may be failing. After installing all these updates it's now
reporting my drive may be failing. As you can imagine, I'm going nuts.
I have a 500gig external, but it's only USB.
I'm thinking, perfect time for a new iMac. The one I'm using doesn't
even have iSight built in. Or I could just buy a new hard drive for
what I'm still using. Or I could buy an external firewire drive I
could also use on my next computer in the future. Or I could think
this SMARTreporter isn't playing friendly with the new updates. It's
kind of suspicious when all this happens right after the updates.
Any thoughts?
