If that were so we would stop counting Window's marketshare too.
Deciding that the top rated product is "irrelevant" is a slippery slope.
This isn't quite like comparing how many Ladas were sold versus
Yugos.
Gaming isn't driven by consoles, it's driven by high end PCs.
That's where the development money is spent and is why we
now have exceedingly good graphics and processor technology
available.
It tends to trickle down.
Console gamers don't fund that technology, their parents do.
No serious gamer would take any of that console stuff with
anythimg other than a big grain of salt.
