I just didn't think someone should have altered MY text to read that way, and I mentioned this pretty casually. That's it. I don't understand why this is so hard to understand.
What bothered me wasn't MS/M$ at all; it was Tom's completely off-target response to a simple comment. Since then there have been multiple implications that I made this up out of whole cloth, feigned worries about what whether my "handlers" would pull my card as a "Microsoft minder", made up stories about some insistence o fmine that MS be addressed in reverential tones, a notion that "clearly" I did this to stop a discussion that was not going my way when in fact I wasn't involved in the discussion at all. Who is attacking who here? Who's being infantile?
