The big failure was that the folks at WordPerfect never figured out how to re-engineer their program for a GUI. They made lots of mistakes. Their menu structure was terrible. The tried to invent their own user interface rules instead of following the operating system's conventions. It was a flop. As much as I criticize MS for its user interface foibles, the errors made by WordPerfect Corp were far, far worse. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
