Yes, it is possible.

During the installation process, it will say something like "Install has detected a previous installation of Windows. Would you like to repair this installation?"

And you may choose "Yes" and install it on the same partition as the other one.

HOWEVER, when you do that, you will have to download and install years worth of patches and updates.

I am trying desperatellynoto erase the whole boot disc C: and stat from scrach with reintallation. Oh my God here we go...reinstall every program...

Now the Restore is no working and when I try to use it, it sends a mensage to microsoft that it has to close... Then when I try to reinstall my Xerox 6110 driver it doesn´t go... How many hours I will spend in this computer to have thse things working?

As a last step of despair I am thinking about installing Vista on the top of this XP Pro.
Is possible to reinstall XP Pro on the top pf XP Pro?...

I am in deep troubles
