Yes, wait until October if you want a bit less work. I thought you
wanted something yesterday though.

The idea behind moving your work to the web is that for many people,
this means a) everything is backed up and b) they no longer need to
install apps to do their work. We'd have to know more about what type
of work you use this machine for in order to make specific
recommendations. Clearly this won't work in every situation.

I'm not sure what you don't understand about the last part. Having to
re-install apps was frowned upon starting with WinXP, and many apps
can work now without going through the install procedure. It's old
Win9x thinking that every time you reinstall the OS you must reinstall
all your apps. As I said, YMMV.
