So, if I get a 2tb external drive USB2, it will be ready to go as one single drive? .right! Furthermore, my desktop has usb2 via card, and my laptop (thinkpad x31) has usb2 and a firewire port. Does the firewire port offer power? Are there still any big drives with both? .tia!
