I was not really talking about that. I was referring to folks who really want to simply know where someone is, as opposed to situations such as you have described. I am reminded of a child riding in the back seat of a car who keeps asking, "Are we there yet?" That is the type of silly queries I was getting at. All too many people just have to talk, even if it is essentially meaningless jabber or silly and non-essential text messaging.
