You want the NEW type nimh batteries. They will come pre-charged, and will say something like "holds 80% of the charge for a year".
You want a charger that isn't simply a timer. It needs to actually measure the voltage and cut off when the battery is actually charged. These can be tricky to find. Maybe look for one that can charge a single battery. e.g.: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/29-4285&cid=prodCrossSell This charger will do it I think, but the included batteries are probably the older type, and will lose their charge in weeks. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/DISTRIBUTED-BY-MCM-MWS7008UC-/29-4195 It's quite possible a better solution for the keyboard, which shouldn't use much power, would be a long life lithium battery. Or just a good alkaline battery. http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&tag=mozilla-20&index=blended&link_code=qs&field-keywords=lithium%20aaa On Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 12:41 PM, John Settle<[email protected]> wrote: > I'd lie to get some advice.
