Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. It's a desktop, not a laptop. I'm thinking
that the other two answers might be on the money. I'm going to replace the CMOS
battery and see if that fixes it.
That is, of course, assuming I can get the damn thing open. Dell has a truly
annoying habit of making every iteration of their cases open in a different
manner, and it's never obvious. It's like some
kind of puzzle.
