I dunno what kind of tuner you are referring to, but if the coax, after the split, terminates with a 75 ohm "F" connector, you should be able to use a transformer that converts from that type of connector to a 300 ohm twin-lead type of cable that can then be connected to your tuner antenna inputs. Such a transformer can be had at just about any place that sells TV accessories, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Radio Shack, etc. I hope I have properly understood what you are needing to accomplish.
