If the NFL is socialist then I'm OK with a bit of socialism. You pay for the uninsured now they just hide the costs in your bills. The real problem is not enough people can really pay for their own health care anymore. Hospitals used to have the insured pay for the uninsured who couldn't foot the bill. Now the insurance companies have negotiated payments down and cash customers are asked to pay huge mark ups to cover the rest. If everyone paid into insurance funds for their entire work lives it would spread the risk. I personally think that to maintain well trained and staffed Hospitals is worth it. It is insane to think that a faceless corporate bureaucrat is better than a faceless federal bureaucrat. -- John Duncan Yoyo -------------------------------o) ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
