Well, he didn't actually say that there were specific issues that would need to be addressed by service packs. He just said that there would eventually be one, which I don't think is really big news to anyone. The only specific problem he mentioned was that his thumbprint reader didn't work, which sounds more like a driver issue than something that would need a service pack. It was pretty obvious that he didn't really understand libraries. But you're right that he wasn't very excited. My anecdotal evidence is quite different; most of the people I've talked to who are using it are very pleased. We'll see.
