The problem most online publications have is total lack of reader loyalty. The average number of pages read by a visitor is currently 1.2. The average revenue brought in by a news story is just $6. Publishers should wish that visitors spend more time reading their stories and perhaps clicking on a couple of ads.

As long as the WSJ's focuses on echoing Fox News I don't think they have to worry much about our stealing their reporting.
