Mac sales figures dispute your theory. While just about everybody else in the industry had negative growth, Mac sales are up 16% year over year.
When I'm working on site it is not uncommon for a secretary or AA to ask if they can get some advice. They don't ask dumb questions. To the contrary I'm impressed by how well they think things through. They ask tough questions about system integration that are often wiser than the analysis I see from supposed IT pros.
