Why would one want to do a good job? That's typical IT mentality.

Smart management has a label for what IT does. They call it turning analog dollars into digital dimes. It is actually even worse. For example Newsday just spent $4,000,000 on a such a sausage machine. Net income for their first 3 month of operation: $9,000. That's what IT mentality leads to.
