Interesting. However, that doesn't mean it makes economic sense. Normally the DC area might get one good snowfall a year; nothing multi-purpose equipment like plows and loaders can't handle. And they can be used year round. Arlington's snow melter(s) would basically sit in the garage 363 days a year. I wonder what that costs them?
