There's another ad hominem again. There's always gotta be at least
one on every group who throws those around. Thank goodness there is
only one here.

I never once put down any of the drawings or artwork created on the
iPhone or even on the iPad. Drawings created on the iPhone are going
to have their limitations, and such limitations may well produce a
certain "look" that can be associated with the medium used. Artists
are doing a good job of working with what they have to work with. I
never said otherwise.

My one and only point throughout has been that a stylus can be a
valuable asset when drawing or writing in freehand mode, and that Mr.
Jobs reasoning for not providing a stylus with his products is silly.
He did not say that styli do not work well. Millions of artists,
engineers, architects and others who create images using computers
will attest to the value of those devices. He said Apple is not going
to supply them because you have to get them, put them away and they
can get lost. That is just plain dumb ass. Were he not making such
statements before a crowd of adoring fans who will cheer his every
syllable, I doubt he would have said such. He said that "Nobody wants
a stylus." He is obviously wrong in that and seriously misinformed.
He offered no reasons for his decision to dispense with the stylus
based upon the usefulness or viability of those devices as drawing
instruments.
