Most discussions in this forum as well as elsewhere that center upon Macintosh vs. Windows focus on market share whenever attempts are made to evaluate popularity. For better or for worse, that is the standard measure employed in the United States when it comes to commercial products. There are other factors that may be considered, but sales figures remain paramount in the U.S. of A.
