Well, I just moved to Zurich 3 weeks ago, and started my job at Google one week ago. So I'm very, very, very, very busy. All of my belongs are packed in a create in a warehouse somewhere in the US awaiting shipment to Europe. So I have my little laptop and some clothes, but that's about it. I don't have my machines, or my harmony, so I lack the tools to write harmony code (at least well, anyway). I'll be getting my stuff in July... > For me, it's been the latter - I've finally managed to settle a new API > for access to the Harmony's IR code learning capabilities in libconcord, > which now also allows to bypass the learning mode and enter IR codes > directly. OK, I will review this code in time, but it's a lot of code, and I'm just painfully busy right now, so please be patient. I can tell you that I'd like to see the functional changes you added to congruity (skip buttons, retry, etc.) added to concordance. It's our primary client, and more importantly, it's the client that serves as a testbed for libconcord. It should always exercise and provide the superset of features. Of course, I don't block a merge on just that (well, not in this case, perhaps in an extreme case) - but it's important to me to see that stuff in general. > For handling of external IR signals, I have added a small library > libIRremotes. As for libIRremotes and the handling of it (who owns it, where it's checked in, and all that stuff), let me get a handle on the code before I make any suggestions so I can make more informed suggestions. Thanks for all the work here, this is great (from the overview - as I said, I haven't really looked at the code yet). -- Phil Dibowitz [EMAIL PROTECTED] Open Source software and tech docs Insanity Palace of Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ http://www.ipom.com/ "Never write it in C if you can do it in 'awk'; Never do it in 'awk' if 'sed' can handle it; Never use 'sed' when 'tr' can do the job; Never invoke 'tr' when 'cat' is sufficient; Avoid using 'cat' whenever possible" -- Taylor's Laws of Programming
