I have just started using SAGE Publications (http://www.uk.sagepub.com) and discovered that I cannot use Conkeror or Firefox (Iceweasel 3.0.14). Looking at the site via Firefox on a Windows desktop I see... https://secure.uk.sagepub.com/js/browserdetect_lite.js (needs "https")
Whats strange is that I can't work out why Firefox on Linux won't work, does not the above script check for the Gecko engine?
