One issue I've seen is that it does not interact well if
you invoke mode-line-mode to hide the mode-line. (Which
I like to do :-). You can recover with
conkeror -e 'mode_line_mode()'
from the command line.
I've been looking for a way to toggle it via a key binding,
but I haven't found the right keymap(s) to make it always
available. For example, I'd like to toggle minibuffer hiding
while focused on the minibuffer or the main window, and also
(of course) when the minibuffer is hidden.
