Trying out the connector, it appears that the connection check() method is not
doing anything, as I get back "Connection working" even with completely bogus
parameters:

Name: test Description:
Connection type: OpenSearchServer Max connections: 10
Server Location (URL): http://localhost:8080/
Index name: index
User name: foo
API Key: bar
Connection status: Connection working
This should be fixed, obviously.
