Hi,

I am very new in Genivi ConnMan, trying to understand the design and figure out
the features supported by ConnMan. From the source code connman-1.24, so far I
have seen that ConnMan supports Station functionalities and P2P support would
be integrated in the near future. Also in the README file, it seems that Access
Point is supported, but from the file names I don't understand whether really
Access Point is supported or not.

ConnMan supports a minimalistic wifi AP through the feature called Tethering (of course via wifi), where you can share a connection through wifi (but you can do it with other technologies as well). Note that you cannot configure anything like the sub-network, the dhcp server etc... all this is handled automatically by ConnMan. If you want a full-featured and configurable AP,
you would have to stick with something like opedwrt.

Could you please confirm whether Access Point is supported in ConnMan, if yes,
please let me know in which file I need to check for AP. Also is there any
document related to ConnMan?

doc/ directory in connman tree should be enough

To start to tether through wifi just run ./connmanctl then tether wifi on

Br,

Tomasz
