Hello,
Auto reconnect does not in the following scenario.
1. Create Mobile hotspot and connect to the Access Point (AP).
2. Deactivate the Hotspot on your phone
3. Immediately activate the Hotspot on your phone
4. It will Not get auto connected to the AP ( need to perform "config
<service> --remove" and then "connect <service> "again)
a. If you wait after step 2 before restarting the AP (wait until ), then the
issue does not seem to occur.
Some observations:
In the above successful scenario of waiting before restarting the Hotspot, we
get the following sequence ( signal_bss_removed , followed by signal_bss_added)
from wpa_supplicant. This code path seem to handle the situation correctly.
Whereas in the failure scenario, we do not get signal_bss_removed. We get the
DisconnectReason wpa_supplicant as 3.
How do we make auto-reconnect to work in this case?
Note: the connman version used is 1.35 .
